Dont be afraid you really can make money on the internet! Learning to develope consistant traffic for your products and services on the internet can be a daunting task for the internet "NEWBIE". Getting those all important first sales to keep you going is crucial! People tend to quit real easy because they never receive any results or belief that what they are doing will work!

Please excuse my English, I am not very educated and I am not very good on the computer. My name is Richard weberg and this is my personal experience.

I started building my internet business about a year ago, it was really confusing! Every website would tell me somthing else, like if you dont use enzines or have a massive list you wont make any money! Every site I went to had some different philosophy, on how to make money on the internet. What I have found out from my experience is, it dosnt matter what you sell on the internet, you can sell anything! What matters is learning to develope a consistant flow of non stop traffic. Your traffic should come from many different advertising avenues.

I have used just about every kind of traffic program out their free and paid ones. Here is a list: auto traffic exchanges, manual traffic exchanges, start pages, pay per click search engines, I submitted my urls manually to all the search engines I could find, banner exchanges, link exchanges, viral traffic programs, posted to business forums, safelist. I tried to use every free traffic program I could find. I had a limited budget and couldnt afford alot for paid advertising. I did is much low cost paid advertising as I could! This may surprise some of you but I dont own my own website and I have never used an enzine and I dont have a massive list! This is exactly what I do

I started with a url rotator, and every day I will login by dial up and add 2 income urls plus 2 traffic producing urls to my rotator. Every Day I would do this, 7 Days a week for 3 months. I Never, Never considered I would fail. I refuse to think I can fail at this. I was totally determined to earn an income on the internet. You see ...I was unemployed, in the process of getting evicted from my apartment, my wife was on the brink of leaving me and I needed to build some form of personal wealth, to send my 3 sons to college. At this time, I was personally in debt and dead broke. I was motivated, but I am not one to whine about my financial difficulties.It took 3 months, but I had a whole bunch of urls on my Rotator, some for income and some to generate traffic.

Two Months Later ...

In my mailbox, I received 22 CHECKS, each averaging $120.00. That's $2,640.00 For That day. Every day after that I was receiving checks in the mail and in my paypal account, Now also my Stormpay account.

Why Are You Not Making Money On The Internet?

Are you one of those people that is succeeding with their business? Or the type that's losing money every month buying e-books, joining new affiliate programs and purchasing new software. If you are the latter type, have you ever thought about why you're not succeeding?

Well I can tell you that the majority of people I know deep down does know why they are not succeeding. It's just that it's Human Nature that we try and block out the answer from our brains and we try and not to confront it.

I bet even you've more than once avoided things in your life which requires effort and took the easy path. While at the same time you're giving yourself reasons or should I say excuses for just plain laziness.

One of my classic examples is I'll do the dishes after I finish browsing this topic on the internet. But after finishing the surfing, I'll do the dishes after reading the newspaper. Oh damn, it's nearly midnight, oh well, I'll do the dishes tomorrow since I have to go to work the next morning. No big deal in not doing the dishes tonight, right?

Yes, I bet you have similar instances like me ;-) And this process goes on and on and on.

Same with your business on the internet. You go for get rich quick programs because they are quick, attractive, don't require much effort from you. After a few months you've lost a lot of money but continue to join these programs. Losing money every month. Aha... but there are guys advertising that they are making a slaughtering with such programs? but who are these people? Well, they're the guys advertising the programs and they're the guys who own the programs.

So why don't you join real online programs that really work and earns you money for your advertising and work?

The answer is because:

a. it takes you ages to get rich unlike the get-rich programs which require a few months of your time
b. it needs you to work and you don't think you can do it.

You have read this far in the article so please remember:

- Having a business on the internet is like a having a normal business. You have to put work into it. There is no FREE lunch. Anyone who tells you it's easy and different is an absolute liar!

- Get rich quick programs don't work. Where the hell is all the money coming from if everyone is earning? Do you know anyone who is rich from get-rich quick programs?

- Confront yourself. Why are you not succeeding or making money? Have you really advertised enough? Is your product really attractive?

- THERE IS NO FREE LUNCH IN LIFE!!!

The most common question I am often asked by some of my customers who are newbies is ‘Is it too late to start an internet business?. My answer to that is an emphatic, No.

This is because I cannot think of a better business to do today. Have you ever considered the alternatives and compared them with an Internet business?

Look at the newspapers and magazines classified ads where franchise opportunities are advertised. The cost of buying into a franchise business opportunity is prohibitive to say the least. The reason for this is that you are buying in to an established business that has hopefully tested many of its management and marketing variables and is now deemed profitable. The creator of the business idea has endured all the pain that naturally comes with starting a brand new business off the ground. He is now enjoying a moderate to high level of success in his enterprise, hence the franchise roll out.

The franchise roll out inevitably becomes another income stream for him. What is not guaranteed (and no one can give you any guarantee whatsoever in any business venture) is that you will enjoy the same level of success, when the business is moved in to your neighbourhood. Therein lies the risk after you have paid huge sums of money to the franchise owner. The advantage of a franchise business deal is the enterprise is essentially ready for take-off.

The other alternative is to be innovative and creative, such that you start an entirely new business with your own idea (which you can actually claim the copyright). Take the financial risks, put in the hours, sweat it out and may be, just may be you could become successful and who knows, you may just roll out your own franchise as well. This might just appeal to you if you’ve got plenty of time and money to spare.

I have never known a business enterprise where the start up cost can be so low so long as you are careful and don’t get sucked in to ‘get rich quick’ schemes. Google's engine will scan through the content of the page to determine its topic, and will then serve ads that are relevant to the page's content. Running Google Adsense is quite simple. Being the owner of an online business is one of the best feelings I know.

The startup costs are very small in comparison to starting a "dirt world" business. Before the Internet, setting up in business was a high risk activity. You could invest thousands in an idea that you really believe in only to find and nobody else believes in it. I'm sure you've heard the statistics : ninety five percent of new startups fail. Not a great figure, it has to be said.

I'm not saying that starting an Internet business is likely to succeed any more than a regular business but the risks involved are much smaller. You could start up fifty online businesses for the amount of money you may have invested in a real world business. That is quite a powerful fact. On the Internet you have room to fail. You just have to pick yourself up and try something else.

Another reason setting up an Internet business is a smart decision these days, is the fact that more and more people are parting with their cash online every single day. No, I'm not talking about credit card fraud, I'm talking about consumers starting to prefer the online experience to traipsing around a shopping center arguing with their partner! Or is that just me?

Many people are starting to trust online transactions and this can only continue. As a matter of fact, buying products online is a much safer activity than handing over your credit card in your favorite restaurant. So you trust that guy behind the counter do you? This increase in online transactions is good news for you if you're looking to start an online business.

In 2005, for the first time, the Internet advertising spend overtook traditional media advertising. This is a hugely significant fact. Comparatively, companies spent more advertising online than they did placing adverts in print media, television and radio. This website has only been online for six months but the owner knew enough to be able to instantly create a profitable business. Forty thousand dollars! For you, maybe this is a lot of money but to an investment firm this is nothing. Especially if the business can create a thousand percent profit which many online businesses can easily do.

It's an investment firm's dream come true. Why should they have to rely on uncertain and downright dodgy investments when they can buy web properties which are almost guaranteed to turn a profit. In the years to come you will see many valuable web properties being bought and sold online. Now is the time to build your business.

In 2005 one guy sold four web sites for over five million dollars. He had owned these web sites for just over one year. He had been able to show a consistent profit over the twelve months and so had created a very valuable web property. Five million dollars may sound like a lot but these websites will have the potential to make way more than that over time. By the way, these were one or two page web sites.

You can easily create businesses for around one hundred dollars. You will have to invest another couple of hundred in advertising but if you do it right you could be turning a profit inside thirty days. Keep records for three to six months and sell your business for a massive profit. The best bit is, once you have sold your business you can do it all over again. You can even do it in the same niche if you like!

So now there is no doubt left in your mind that setting up an online business is what you want to do .. how do you do it? This is where the fun begins! There's so much information out there that you will almost certainly suffer from information overload at some point. We've all been there.
